Such a small thing but it means today we were able to make a $500 donation to Malala Fund, the fund works to educate women and girls around the world.

At The Happy Frog we are recycling your bottles and cans to raise money for charity and the environment.

Educating girls is seen as one of the most effective ways of fighting the climate emergency, with Project Drawdown listing “educating girls” at number six out of 100 of the top 100 activities that would halt rising emissions.

Educating girls came in above rooftop solar panels and electric vehicles (number 10 and 26 respectively). Why? Because decades of research shows that good quality education sees girls marrying later, having fewer children and achieving greater economic prosperity for themselves and their families.

Jimmy, a fifth-generation farmer, decided to follow the organic farming journey started by his parents, Chris and Ann, on the family’s dairy farm near Wauchope.
